OH-ALLIES presented at the Association for Veterinary Teaching and Research Work
The OH-ALLIES project was recently presented at the Association for Veterinary Teaching and Research Work (AVTRW) conference by two of our WP2 researchers, Maeve and Ken. Ken presented swine influenza virus surveillance data from NI pig herds and Maeve shared insights into her work on the surveillance of avian influenza in wild mammals in Ireland.
These presentations, amongst many others that day, showcased the critical role of a One Health approach in identifying and mitigating zoonotic threats. The AVTRW conference underscored how education, research, and collaboration drive innovation in tackling cross-sectoral health issues.
